What this tool measures
Appearing on maps and in near me searches requires Google to know exactly where your business is, when it is open and what it does. The visible address satisfies people; machines need LocalBusiness markup to read it without error.
The tool offers seven business types: general business, professional service, restaurant, store, medical clinic, auto repair and real estate agent. The type sets the schema's @type value and influences which category Google matches you to.
Opening hours are entered the way they are written and converted to the standard format: a Monday to Friday line expands into five days, a Saturday line into one. Up to 20 lines are read. Writing “Konak, İzmir” in the district field puts the first part into addressLocality and the second into addressRegion, and the country is fixed to TR.
How to use it
- 1
Pick the right business type
Generic LocalBusiness always works, but a narrower type carries more meaning. MedicalClinic suits a dental practice and ProfessionalService a consultancy far better.
- 2
Always fill in the phone number
A missing phone fails the audit rather than warning. The call button in local results comes from this field, and a listing without one is incomplete as a trust signal.
- 3
Write the address in parts
Street and number in the street field, “district, city” in the district field. Cramming it all into one line destroys the field separation in the schema and Google cannot match the address.
- 4
Write hours line by line
Each line needs a day or day range plus a time range. Unparseable times raise a warning and that line never enters the schema; phrases like “weekdays” are not recognised.
- 5
Add your social profiles
One full address per line. They land in the sameAs field and let Google connect your listing with your profiles on other platforms as one business.
When to use it
- Adding structured data to the contact page of a single-location business.
- Opening a new branch and preparing a dedicated page and schema for it.
- When the NAP Consistency Checker reports no LocalBusiness schema anywhere on the site.
- When Dipasoft handles your map visibility as part of its SEO service, you can still prepare the technical markup here yourself.
Reading the result
Where the output goes
In the <head> of the contact page or just before </body>. Single-location businesses may add it to the homepage too, but repeating the same schema on every page is unnecessary and gains nothing.
With several branches
Give each branch its own page carrying only its own schema. Marking up two addresses on one page leaves Google unsure which location belongs to which page.
In a Next.js project
Keep the JSON as a constant and render it with a script tag in the contact page component. When branch data lives in the database, build the schema from that data so the markup updates itself when an address changes.
In WordPress
Add the block as a custom HTML block on the contact page, or write it conditionally into the theme's header.php. If your SEO plugin already emits LocalBusiness, do not keep both.
Schema must match the page
The hours and address in the markup must also appear as visible text. Google cannot verify information that exists only in the schema, and structured data policy can invalidate such markup.
Questions about the LocalBusiness Schema Generator
It does not. Map pack ranking rests largely on the profile listing. The schema corroborates that listing from your own site, and consistency between the two strengthens the trust signal. Both are needed.
This tool has no latitude and longitude fields; the output carries address, phone, hours and social profiles. If you want coordinates, add a geo field to the generated JSON by hand.
The truth. Put each day on its own line when the times differ. For a midday break, write the same day twice with two separate ranges and the output is correct.
Without a physical office it is better to describe the area you serve. Editing the generated schema to add an areaServed field beats publishing a visiting address that does not exist.
