Yes. You record the meter's previous and current readings, and consumption is multiplied by the unit price. The amount becomes a work order with one click and lands as a line on the stay's invoice. The same reading is never billed twice.

Can boat owners see their own accounts?

Yes. You send the boat owner a one-time portal link. From there they see their stay, invoices and balance, and open service requests such as a crane lift or a wash.
